The beauty of Goncharov is so far from creating the fantasy of a movie you personally would want to watch. I couldn’t care less about 70s mobster movies, and if Goncharov were real I probably would not watch it.
What makes Goncharov so captivating is the spontaneous act of cooperative storytelling. It’s about committing to the bit and saying “Yes, and-” to every piece of new information put out there about this not-movie. It’s playing pretend with your friends under the slides. The point is the play, not the story.
is goncharov (1973) really that much less real than whatever show the destiel bloggers have been watching with their extrasensory perception for 15 years
